After signing up, go to the Home tab and tap "Link Account." You'll be guided through a secure connection process powered by Plaid. UseKYN never sees your bank login credentials — you authenticate directly with your bank through Plaid's secure interface.
Yes. Your data is protected with bank-level encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit). We never store your bank login credentials. When AI features process your data, all personally identifiable information is stripped first — the AI only sees anonymized financial patterns. You can manage your subscription through Apple's subscription settings:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top, then tap "Subscriptions"
- Find UseKYN and tap "Cancel Subscription"
You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. If you need any help, email us at support@usekyn.com.
You can delete your account in the app by going to More > Settings > Account > Delete Account. When you delete your account, all your personal data is removed immediately — including linked account connections, transaction history, and chat history. You can also request account deletion by emailing support@usekyn.com.

UseKYN offers a 7-day free trial so you can explore all premium features before committing. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial period, you can choose a monthly ($12.99/month) or annual ($99.99/year) subscription to continue using all features.
UseKYN supports thousands of financial institutions across the United States through our integration with Plaid, including major banks, credit unions, brokerages, and credit card providers. During the account linking process, you can search for your specific institution.
If you're having trouble linking a bank account, try these steps:
- Make sure you're using the correct login credentials for your bank
- Check if your bank requires multi-factor authentication and complete any verification steps
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the account
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
